Greetings reader, and welcome to my corner of the internet!

I am a computer programmer. That is, I program computers. I also study Cybersecurity at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I take great interest in computer graphics, real-time rendering, light simulation, audio processing, networking, application vulnerabilities, reverse engineering, and video game modding.

Programming Languages

I've worked with C++ for 10 years, and it is my favorite language for writing software. I use it when I need speed and control from an application. I've used it in projects where I'm messing with Win32 API, handling application binaries, serving as a backend for a service, and for simulations. I have considered trying Rust in place of C++, but I have yet to try it out.

Whenever I need to write a script to do a task, I choose Python. I've used it to convert Markdown documents into Word documents, convert height maps into normal maps, and to scrape data from a repository.

I use x86 assembly whenever I need to write position-independent code.
